Puerta Querétaro is in El Marqués, the industrial municipality east of the City of Querétaro. The park fronts State Highway 500 and sits five miles from Highway 57. Querétaro International Airport is directly adjacent to the park. The two properties share a boundary.
El Marqués has established itself as one of the primary industrial zones in the Bajío region, alongside the municipalities surrounding Guanajuato, Aguascalientes and San Luis Potosí. Highway 57 connects north to the U.S. border at Laredo. Highway 45 runs through the automotive manufacturing corridor. The park sits at the intersection of both.
The municipality hosts major foreign operations across manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and technology. Companies choosing to establish nearshoring operations in central Mexico frequently evaluate El Marqués for the combination of airport access, highway connectivity, and available industrial land.
Querétaro state has 45 industrial parks and over 1,500 foreign-owned companies. The Bajío region has absorbed more nearshoring investment over the past five years than any other corridor in Mexico.
